Beginner Skateboard Clinics
Learn to skate clinics will be offered on Saturday mornings throughout the spring and summer months to those who are new to the sport. The clinics will focus on the basic skills, etiquette, and equipment needed to have a safe and enjoyable experience at any skatepark. More dates may be added based on demand.

Skateboard Camp
Skateboard Camp is an instructional based day camp for skaters ages 6 to 15 who wish to sharpen their skills while having fun skating with their peers. This is an opportunity for skaters to focus on progression and learn from each other as well as the instructors before the park opens for regular skate hours. Each session is limited to 15 skaters. Camps meets on the dates listed below, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to noon. Cost is $75 per session and includes instruction, a demo, t-shirt and pizza on last day of camp. Summer Camp

June 9-13 / June 16-20 / June 23-27
July 7-11 /July 14-18 / July 21-25
Time: 9 – 12 pm
Cost: $75 per camp

  FLSP Rules            
 
  • Helmets, kneepads and elbow pads required.**
  • Skateboards and Inline Skates only.
  • No Bicycles.
  • No tobacco products allowed in the park.
  • No graffiti, tagging or other means of defacing property.
  • No food or drink in the skating area.
  • In case of inclement weather, the park may be closed.
  • Violators will be dealt with accordingly.

** Effective October 1, 2003, the State of North Carolina mandates public skateboard parks in North Carolina to require all skaters to use proper safety equipment. It allows municipalities to afford liability insurance needed to operate skateboard parks.
